im sick of them secretly adding the price of a phoneline so you get discounts, how corrupt is that?

Because all DSL operators here advertise a price that doesn't include line rental they think they can do it too.

It's not so clear to Virgin customer services either. I phoned to ask the cost of changing my existing Talk Evening and Weekend to Talk Anywhere 200. The girl I spoke was adamant the extra cost would be £20.

Where does this come from? Surely it's £9 (the Talk Anywhere cost) less £3.45 (Evening and weekend) making an extra £5.55.

I believe that they are very reasonable, but my only problem is that l just wish they would changed that colour scheme, having a black surround on the guide, they should change it to be more better looking.

I'd like to see the introduction of a talking guide, both on virgin and sky. Somehow I can't see it happening.

'till then I find the one on my dad's v+ box the easiest to use :tu:

Virgin Media aren't a DSL company by origins, and if the price of a particular deal includes a phone line it shouldn't be separated from the advertised price to make a particular deal seem very attractive. Virgin even whole-sale the phone line for their DSL service so you don't have to pay BT for the line, and they STILL get away with the entire stuff. OfCom need some big cahoonas and force legislation down their throats to stop this happening, but they don't, and every time we, the ordinary consumer, get cheated by them.

That was my point, and I'm aware of the above, but thanks for reiterating it in a somewhat more wordy and complete fashion.
