Well, congrats VM for not being on the list. There once was a time when NTL was a permanent fixture in surveys like this.

I called VM’s CS the other day about changing a service so I phone 150 and option 2 change of service then option 3 change of service. Went through to India or Manila, I wanted some information in regards up grading my BB. “Yes sir if you would like to give me your details I will set that up for you”, no I only won’t some information first. “I’m sorry sir I do not have that”. I tried again and got the same. I then tried the option to leave and got straight through to a UK call centre and spoke to a very helpful gentleman who was able to answer my questions.
What is the point of having options when you choose the correct options and the people you speak to don’t know anything about the service they are selling, and isn’t it funny when you threaten to leave you go to a UK call centre.

I'm remembering a time with Ntl when I would make a pot of tea, have a snack ready and have a book handy and just sit at the phone reading, drinking and eating until I got an answer...I never do that now. :)

Mind the simple step of providing a service status number must have cut down on some of the unnecessary phone calls..

I've never had a bad call with Three, or been kept holding for any length of time.

Probably the only decent indian call centre I've ever been put through too.

Sadly, only the business customers have a UK-based call centre now.

they probably would have been in top 5 if everyone thats left since it became vm had voted

As NTL they were incompetent at a few things but as VM there a deliberate rip off with most stuff
