thats what vm 50mb support told me if you are in a area that is doing 50mb trials you WILL be STM . so if my stats look ok what what u advise to find out why after i download 3gig my connection drops ????

I deleted my last post on this thread because I wasn't sure what the O/P was saying. Any chance that you can repost the speeds you were actually getting.

I think I got the gist of what you were saying, but I have to be honest your post was a little difficult to understand.

I support 50Mb customers and know that we are not Traffic Managing them whatsoever, so who ever told you otherwise were lying to you.

Agreed, I have had no caps in my time - I use torrents, http downloads and ftp - If there is traffic shaping, that is a totally different thing.

If STM was introduced, would that break the terms of contract? If so, would VM refund the installation fee along with the activation fee?

Could be very costly if they did have too.

Traffic management is already in your terms and conditions so no it would not break the terms and as yet the is no STM on 50Mb which is the subject of this thread.

What about trials. do they have to tell us about trials? you said earlier that they would tell us if they were trialling and what areas these would be.

is that just out of courtesy, or is it because they might have been told that they have to inform people?

That's not for the 50MB there isn't no STM on the 50MB. The thread is about 50MB which is the subject of this thread :)
