This is one of the best parts of Top Gear, the Stigs secret identity, The Telegraph and the one last week (i cant remember who) should have not pressured the BBC or Collins and kept there mouth shut!

Yes everyone wants to know but this Stig is good and now he will loose his job & be fired off a jumbo jet or something this time

I think the game was definately up when he was mentioned in the hamster crash report :shrug: oh well. pink stig (but not a girl) next then please!

In the current economic climate maybe this was the best they could come up with to boost some sales,pure speculation!!

I don't think that's him, possibly the lad from Bristol is just looking for the exposure, I doubt TopGear would let it all go out like this.

I for one enjoy the mystry surrounding the Stig and would be very unhappy if this turns out to be true. I think the identity of The Stig should only be revealed in the last show should Top Gear ever go off air for good.

Topgear...go off air for good....don't do that to me - its my only bit of entertainment on a Sunday night after putting up with Emmerdale and Coronation Street JUST so i can watch it!

If they do retire him due to now being known I wonder which method they'll use... Black stig was launched from an aircraft carriers catapult :)

I think maybe they should re-attempt the Reliant Robin rocket - but with a Stiggy Pilot :)

Or maybe breaking the land speed record in a G-Wiz :)
