Yes, but Virgin don't do 50MBps. 50 mbps is the fastest speed they offer. I think it'll be a while before they will offer 50 MB :)

(All ISPs quote their speeds in Megabits, not megabytes per second)

We do 50Mb (megabit) not 50MB (megabyte) nor do we do 50mb (millibits - 50 thousandths of a bit per second) though some with problems think that we do.

I don't think anyone really cares what the differential breakdowns are for each abbreviation. People not 'in the know' clearly mean the same thing when talking about internet and network speeds.

I care becuase it matters! People sould write the correct terminology to save confusion.
