I am when it's my problem :), no I haven't touched the Northbridge Heatsink, temperatures still seem stable and I've turned Smart Fan Control back on :)

I've turned Smart Fan Control back on (I turned it off so that it would spin at full speed to minimise any damage) and the highest temperature I've seen so far is 44oC on the CPU and 59 on the Northbridge, much happier :)
