Far greater numbers (well over 10 million IIRC) of Chinese civillians were killed by the Japanese, on the point of a bayonet or in experiments horrifically similar to the Nazi's they don't seem worth mentioning though, we don't even bat an eyelid when the Japanese government removes all mention from their childrens text books. In Russia pre WWII the 1937 census was over 25 million short dues mainly to Stalins purges they don't warrent a mention either it seems.

Secondly, two of the Cabinet, Ed and David Milliband are descended from Jewish refugees from Nazi Europe. The Labour Party has historically been a comfortable home for Jewish people (Kaufmann, Janner and numerous others). Are they likely to sit comfortably with an official policy of Holocaust denial? Are the Labour Friends of Israel (which includes numerous high-ranking party figures) going to sit idly by? Thirdly, it's total bunkum, of course. Muslims are perfectly able to accept that the Holocaust occurred. Neither group is about to get appeased by Government order.

Oddly enough, if you want Holocaust denial, try examing conspiracy theorists. Lots of it around in 9/11 conspiracy circles ('Well, it was the Jews what done it, wasn't it? Stands to reason'). Google for 'Nick Kollerstrom'.

If we forget debunking idiocy we have to debunk it all over again, too.

Not Japanese ones they aren't and when did that change because it wasn't that long ago I was at school and other than brushing on what bad people Tojo and Stalin were they weren't mentioned, unlike the months set aside to ramming home how horrid the Nazi's were, which imo they were, it's just left to that, you get the picture that only the Nazi's were capable of such heinousness
