We've got 2 main bins (black for normal rubbish, green lid for recyclable stuff) and a blue tub for glass. There's also a brown bin for garden waste, but you have to pay for that.

The black and green lib bins are collected on alternate weeks, the blue tub once a month and I'm not sure about the brown bin since I don't have one.

Plastic containers (e.g. ice cream)
Yoghurt pots

Towels & blankets
(Textiles must be clean & dry)

We can have as many boxes as we want too. They will take up to 12 bags of garden waste free but this goes to landfill or (stupidly enough :erm:) you can pay £30 and have garden waste collected fortnightly which goes for composting and only up to 4,000 households can do this although a lot less actually do.
