thanks for all your input.

Virgin are sending someone out Saturday - a) I'll have to stay in which is silly because I know the part is the problem and b) wonder if he will carry the part with him. Since found I can buy for Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£22 but this seems stupid - if anyone can send me the part CCW100-38 so I can exchange with the faulty unit I would be pleased to hear from them!!!
