Of course some are, every group was racists, nutters, criminals, murders and whatever else you can think of. It is not however, indicitive of the entire Muslim population. That is an important distinction because otherwise all groups will be help responsible for the actions of a minority. It is the same logic that lets terrorist justify their actions against innocent people in the west based on collective responsibility.

You yourself have argued in favor of Jehovah's Witnesses, saying that people should not believe the negative press that is often published about them. Shouldnt the same be applied to Muslims?

Nasty little question - given that the UK is a fully franchised democracy, Muslims just as much as anyone else are entitled to campaign (but not, however, to demand) to change this country's culture and indeed laws.
