Precisely, I personally prefer having the extra horizontal acreage.

Came back to say that I'm very happy with the choice I made so far.It's a vast improvement and it works very well with my art software.I can see all the very small,fine fonts that weren't adjustable without contortions,peering or getting out a magnifier.

Now to get the old CRT down the dump.:)

I think Comet will collect and dump old TVs and computer screens for about £20.

No I'm taking it to the recycling center.They dispose of electricals properly and if anything still works they sell it for charity and even better it will only cost me the petrol to take me on the 7 minute journey to the centre. ;)
