Dell are pushing what is legally acceptable as warrenties in the uk. Zing is probably correct as by law the reseller must warrant it for at least 12 months. What kind of warrenty is upto them!
Dell like to offer big upgrades to there warrenty & support services (this is now seperate) which can cost almost as much as the hardware itself in some cases! |

i bought both of mine from lidl two years ago and have found it great - wifi installed and have not had a problem with any of the software - unlike my laptop i bought a few years ago from one of the high street vendors and it had to be reconfigured etc etc etc

fugitisu or however you spell it appear to do 4 hour battery life last time i looked but acer appeared to be 1-2 hours which is crap.
