Thats what I did,so basically my first bill would be £3 plus 10p for a customer service call. That is what I call good value!

Can you get this if you are already a Virgin PAYG customer and want to transfer your number or is it for new numbers only?

Was on PAY as you go and they altered everything with same number, same sim card and just had to set up direct debit. All done and working within an hour.

how do you know the credit or minutes left? can you login online or do they sms you?

You can check online or by dialling 789 from yourt handset. The balance is updated immediately, the online call log takes 20 - 30 mins to update.

Well they still wont let me have the offer, strange as I have just got a Argos store card (for emergency's only) and a platinum credit card from Barclays.

Oh well tis there loss
