I am a bt openreach engineer and most engineers with in their local area know roughly to with in 200-300 meters how far you are from the exchange. So next time you see one of our vans parked up just ask him/her (most are ok) and they should give you a rough idea. Hope it helps.

A non-issue as regards Infinity as that is distance from the cab.

Not an issue for my parents, their A-B is within the distance limits for an ethernet cable.

Shame Sky can't seem to get their internet connection to work, but that's not line length, that's the sagem modem/router. (May as well call em sagem onion. If you have one you're stuffed)
