Bit of a demonstration of how far away from being a minority we actually are.
So relax, no need to panic, there are many many more white British people in the UK than immigrants.

Locky is only intrested in a race war, his constant comments regarding a delusional battle between them and him (those of us who are not racist are going to perish with 'them') show this.

White British people make up over 90 to 95% of the population, then its black british people. Immigrants, Asians, etc etc are less than 5% there is no chance of being in the minority.

I only meant if what tht daft article says is true about Sheffield and it happens everywhere then in say, 25 years the immingrants outnumber the british then i'd have an issue! But that's hypothetically, i know you're right and that it probably will never happen.

Anyway my only issue with immigrants is when they come over here and complain about the way we live and are offended by everything to the point where things need to be changed to deal with that, but again that's another typical example i think of media hype and as people have said before it's usually the brits who are too scared of offending that cause those issues. The way i see it if i were from a different culture i'd expect to fit in with the country which i lived in and not expect them to fit around me.

Perhaps this might help (hate to bring facts into a thread, but they sometimes help ;)) - it might be while yet before "we", whoever "we" are, are in a minority (if we are all British, how can anyone be in a minority?)

surely this kind of talk about who does and who doesn't belong in this country is what causes division between race/ethnic origin? if there was no us/them attitude then we would be less likely to end up with home grown terrorists.
