It wasa fully functional home computer with all sorts of programs to plug into it games yes but also anything else the primitive computer could do. It was programmable with a cartridge holding the operating system as it were. 5 and a quarter inch floppy disc drive tape drive dot matrix printer the lot. My Dad was an elsectrial engineer for The Dunlop all his working life he built Tank battle and Pong machines from kits way back in the 70's he swore by the Atari imo it was better than Commodore we used to do so much more with it than anyone else down the street did with there vic 20 and 64 later we had the 400 the 800 the xl and the xe all modified hard modded. We had what was called the "happy" chip installed into the floppy drive to get rid of the the copy protection lol /In a way being exposed to all that is why im doing what I do now although I dont credit that as the beginning just the influence
