Not to mention the fact that Chekov opened an email saying "Free nudey pix", infected his station with a virus and it flooded the Enterprise comms systems with emails offering "Cheap H3rba| V1agra".

The transporter, they have done it with one lil molecule, but the origional is destroyed in the process.
