Re: A post to NTL
Indeed Bill, so much so, that your going to be ringing round monday to try and make sure it isnt infact a typo, and good you for that effort...
if the accountants get wind of it though, a simple typo can and does become official mandate if they think they can get away with it LOL. |

As for the apparently "lower" upload speeds, people have just realised that their line is not getting 512k upload and thought that NTL have lowered it rather than it just not being the fact that NTL can't provide that even though the line is meant to.. and anyway, that typo has been fixed. http://home.ntl.com/websales/product.do?id=3264 |
Re: A post to NTL
I expect this thread can now be put to bed, given that this all started due to a website typo: http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/sh...2&postcount=85

Couple of things I should correct: 1) As stated above, the 384K upload could be a typo on the site. Before we all start bitching, it might be an idea to wait and see if it's true. 2) The 20 meg trial was just that: a trial. NTL have a lot of trials for various speeds and technologies. It doesn't automatically follow that they are going to offer those speeds and technologies any time soon (if at all). ---------- Post added at 09:45 ---------- Previous post was at 09:16 ---------- Quote:
Put it this way: I would be more likely to trust that whatever Bill (and various other staff) is true than a rumour. |
Re: A post to NTL
As previously stated, a typo, nothing more. Excitement over.
