It seems to depend which server you're on. UK1 and UK2 seem fine but it is UK3 that's giving all the problems.

Willie, does this mean you are the only person working at I-Web since no one else answered the queries posted on the I-Web forums ;)

In my opinion this should only be discussed in their forums and has no relevence, here.

- I don't discount noticing Paul has already tried that ;)

and got no response :)

While I really like the guys at i-web, to be honest whether or not they have connection problems is not my concern, nor is it anyone elses. People are paying for a service, and to have to wait 2 weeks for a response is a bit off really - what would have happened if something major had gone wrong?

I thought Nemmy had been taken on board to provide a 'human face' for updates and so on ?

As I have said before are we not allowed to talk about i web here.
Are you a moderator.
I think they should decide that.

You are able to raise any subject you like on CF, provided it doesn't break our rules. However, when talking about another company, person or indeed most things, Cable Forum is exactly that, a forum, independent of such organisations. Thus they do not have to respond here, even when we know representatives do visit us from time to time.

But part of the point is, we have had a response here, and not through the official channels. That tells me something is very very wrong.

no, I'm not a moderator for i-web, but I am a customer, my sites are working, I just think we should calm down. Flaming them in other forums doesn't help, imo :)

Flaming doesn't help much period. But, IIRC i-web gives a discount to CF members, hosts (or used to host) CF, and a fair few members here use i-web for hosting (I'm not one of them, I don't have a web-site). It's not surprising therefore to see a thread here when they appear to be unresponsive to queries on their own forums.

afaik they honour existing contracts, but new ones are not discounted?

I wouldn't know, I've never been a customer (of any hosting company actually). It's not surprising to see a thread here seeing they used to give a discount to CF members though.

I don't think the CF offer exists anymore, but those who had it still get the discount.

As for discussing it here, feel free, it's not against any of our rules. :)
