I didn't like his choice of wording in the EULA... "Install the sponsor program (Thank You)" and "I refuse to give my support". For non-tech savvy users, this is ambiguous, to say the least.

I agree there on that point, but it was pretty self explanatory even though he could have used better wording.

When you donate many hours of your life, on boards on the web to help users remove infections, you will understand my satisfaction.

Many of the adverts provided by LOP, come from XXX rated sites - would you want a youngster viewing such adverts ?!?

I could post a link to an investigation of the infection, but the images displayed from the ads are adult related, therefore you will have to take my word on this.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to this but CF ain't my main forum right now, however.

Users who click next next and do not read the clear prompt are asking to be infected.

As for people who get spammed and viruses on their pc, there is two ways to learn.

1) Is listening to people

2) The other is loosing alot of information.

TBH, there have been complaints about Patchou using spyware for *years* now. Now, if I were in his position, whether the package I created installed Spyware or not, and whether it was left to the user to choose to install it or not, I would find another soure of revenue.
