Oh the irony, I cancel my engineerer as VOD starts working again and as soon as I do, my box stops working, now that works again but I still have the problem with 'Choppy Picture' when I press Interactive, and a new error 'CM20' when i try to fast forward. I am gonna leave it a while though, fed up of ringing the place.

You should not have cancelled!! The "choppy picture" is to do with poor signal strength/quality as I mentioned before which was affecting VOD too. Basically you need a good downstream signal and a stable return path for digital TV services to work correctly.

Either get back onto faults and report "freezing pictures" or read that PM again! If you don't the service you are receiving will just get worse.
