As Rillington asks, What is ntl:'s response?? Do we have a date when a full interactive service will be available for all?

I thought Cable was supposed to be the superior service ... with the greatest potential! When's it going to be realised??

BTW Rillington ... congrats on your 101st post!!

The team can only pass on questions to people in NTL, they cannot demand an immediate answer or for them to post on here. I'm sure that the query has been passed on to someone who might be able to shed light on it, it may take more than a week for it to be answered though ;)

As did I aardvark. trouble is is that Sky trumps ntl every time. Everything appears on Sky first, Freeview second and then finally Telewest with ntl either getitng it many months/years later or not at all. News 24 interactive ahs been around for a year plus but ntl seems not willing to provide a service paid by the licence fee user and available to all other digital users.

Cheers on your congrats too, as I indeed post number 101!

As Tristan pointed out at the very beginning of this thread, it has nothing to do with ntl not being willing to provide the service. It comes down to current software limitations. Once the software has been upgraded in certain areas, they will be able to provide the service, which I'm sure they will.

Browneggsandham :)
