No dust masks do not stop you from getting the flu, as it is airbourne everywhere. SO put your dustmasks away as if you get it you get it!!!! sorry

Also, dont masks have to be of a specific grade depending on what you are dealing with.

yes, i don't believe all the hype about pandemics :).... yet....

You have to have surgical grade but there is about 5types on the market. If you are that worried why dont you walk round in a gas mask!!!!!! or a contamination suit and everyone will think you are mad!!!!!
