Sounds more like that guy has an internet addiction or something. I personally use the internet a lot but only as a filler or time waster when I have nothing to do, it certainly doesnt stop me doing something more constructive when the need arises. There have actually been several things I would have had trouble doing such as repairs on the car if it wasnt for my wireless BB.

Admittedly, as I have a family so can't go out party-ing every night like I used to :cry: using the net is preferable to watching TV. You end up shouting at the telly, but it doesn't fight back, whereas if you shout at someone in IRC or on a forum, you're usually in for a good time.
