very true , the door will still be lockable to the extent that the bolts / shoots will still work , so a carefully paced chair would make it secure ;)

is this lock an expensive lock or a cheapy.....cheapy can be picked by a novice. Beware....wear protection for your eyes as high grade locks have anti drill pins and can shatter your drill bit.

in my experience they are all good quality , timely warning though :tu:

I have the same problem and I have the key too. I could not turn the key to a position where the cam would align and pull the cylinder out. Any suggestions? Thanks!

It may be worth a try but the best bet might just be to call a decent local locksmith to avoid any damage to your door.
