I need NTL to take this seriously as it is a website I am about to build for a client and will be costing me a lost of money.

Which is the best number to call?

Have you checked the ntl Server Status Page?

Out of interest are you near Oxford? as the IP traces to an oxford cache.
I will give it a go and see what happens.
Out most of today but Outlook will still be checking emails and if it dies i will see an error message.

However, two of my friends on BT broadband can access the site without any problems!

I've had a similar problem with my 1Mb (soon 1.5 :D )

anything i can do about it? i can't get on to ordersky.com but sky.com works. there are a few other's aswell

Hi

Your problem is not quite the same as normally i can connect to all sites at good speeds on 600K. Its only 1 site that routing to causes a problem.

You could try the proxy as suggested on an earlier thread

62.254.128.6, port 8080
