Re: please help me
If you double click on the wireless connection, then properties, does that then show 3 tabs one of them being wireless networks???
This should show available networks. For mine I had to run the ICS on both pc's |

As Debs said, when you check the properties of the wireless connection is it detecting any networks at all? If broadcast is enabled on the router, it should show your network here even if you are not able to connect to it. |

Re: please help me
Ok sorted it, and i am so angry as to the solution. While installing the various things needed from the acer disk, i decided to skip the things I'd never need, one of these was a small program that allowed you to configure short cut keys, well as the wireless lan has a short cut key to turn it off and on this is why it wouldn't work, so installed it and job done.
It's been a long night but it's sorted now. |
