Re: Leaving NTL, but will listen to offers
Anybody remember the "Free Flights to USA" for buying a Hoover scandal ?
I wonder what will happen with this, BT offering Free Flights for subscribing to broadband http://www.bt.com/broadband/bb_info.jsp |
Re: Leaving NTL, but will listen to offers
Well, here's what has happened since I started this thread.
I ordered a new line from BT. Then, on the day the BT engineer was supposed to come to port over my old number, he did not arrive. Taking the day off cost me in the region of £70. So, I cancelled my BT order there and then. Immediately called NTL to ensure that they kept my number. They were rather pleased about this and offered me a good deal for my line and bb service for the next 12 months. This is cheaper than any 1mb deal you can buy anywhere. So, I'm a happy bunny!! Now that I have 1mb, will I soon get the 1gb cap letter as I have been downloading willy-nilly? But that will be another story if or when it happens. |

Surely that can be done at the exchange? When I had my old BT number ported to NTL they didn't have to come out to me, all I had to do was fill in a form and pay the £20 fee. |
