An extension to the aerial lead is much cheaper than paying the extra to NTL, get one & route it under the carpet or something. I regretted going to Digital, I found the analogue box much easier to use, never locked up where the STB does all the time and it costs a heck of a lot more. Dont be taken in by the "games" & "interactivity" bullpoop, you soon get bored of the games, some of them are chargeable & you cannot stop them being used (if you have kids) without stopping them all, the interactivity bits take ages & you might as well run down to the local paper shop & buy a tv guide for 40p while waiting for them to load. The "Red button" does not work & seemingly never will. On the other hand, Sky has 330 channels & the Red button does work. :D |

If there's no standard teletext and no digitext that would definitely put me off switching. (Only way to get cricket scores without SkySports!!) Do these services work with a decent Freeview stb? Steve. |

Most BBC enhanced services should be available like the Euro 2004, wimbledon etc. |

Re: digital v analogue
Assuming you're talking about BBCi content, then you're quite wrong. There is *far* more content on cable than on Freeview, or even satellite. There is also better e-TV content on Bromley -- up to 5 extra video streams (the same as Sky), as opposed to the 2 you can get on Freeview. This will soon be available on Langley too.
