Re: Broadband query/Best 1mb service

Right, sorry to revive this topic after so long, but I haven't been concentrating on this for a while but it has come up again..

We are looking for an ISP with a good contention ratio - probably out of the following:

AOL (preferred)
BT
NTL
Plusnet
Zen
Pipex

Can anyone tell me what the contentin ratios are for the 1mb service offered by each of the above providers... or if there is another ISP out there that offers a better contention ratio?

Thanks.

Thanks Neil,

BTW, I had a good look at ADSLguide and eventuallly found the information regarding contention ratios and other things I needed and I have rounded it down to AOL or BT... I also spoke to BT and they have confirmed I can take our number back to BT for free - so I will call them back soon...
