It used to be such a good pub, too. But then they changed it, & it turned into a barry-boy pub. Then they changed it again, & it became some stupid trendy pizza bar. Now they've finally gone back to the old name, but it still isn't the same.

well that's the pc age we now live in am Afraid i wanna go back to the regular's

your poor poor liver....at least i only drink occasionally.....

occasionally i have a bad day and just feel like getting totally drunk....

hmm - depends how fast you drink it ;) - drink it over 2 or 3 hours your liver can cope fairly well, especially if you eat at the same time, which slows absorption of the alcohol, into your blood. - well that is my excuse, anyway :erm:

Going on my own experience, I can honestly say I have never seen double, or had blurred vision as a result of being drunk. As for the "Home Truths". Yes, I can honestly say that when drunk, I personally don't necessarily think about what I am doing. Therefore, I am more likely to do things that I would not usually do.

The sad thing is, generally, my memory is not affected badly by drink (which means I can remember everything I do while drunk, which, trust me, is not a good thing).

Yep, being very drunk just impairs my ability to speak...which is probably a good thing :D

hmmmm.....i haven't been that drunk that i see double of things..... but i do tend to be overly honest when i am drunk and sometimes do things i wouldn't normally do when i was sober :blush:
and it has only happened once that i can't remember the whole evening (and months on still can't :confused: )

Well, I did drink a little bit last night.. My mate got married yesterday.. Interesting wedding, and and an interesting reception. Not entirely sure what I drunk, but I do know that I drunk a Nigerian Guiness (considerably stronger than the English stuff and basically like drinking syrup), several pints of Fosters, several glasses of white wine and at least two Vodkas and cokes. And a Smirnoff Ice..

Things got interesting on the coach on the way home..
