It's a spectrum game - and you don't need any other clue apart from ..... what can you see in the picture :)

Anyway I am off out and won't be back 'till Saturday night so you've got loads of time to think about it.

I checked this out and although Lords Of Midnight is a text based RPG it doesn't look like this is it. Has anyone noticed the character's name is 'Will' - I can't think of any famous books/films with Will as a main character. dilliga seems to think we should be able to work it out - well I'll be surprised if it IS something guessable.

Hurrah, I knew someone would know it. It IS Gravity Power. Fantastic game, unfortunately 2 player only and no one ever wanted to play against me - too busy with Sensible Soccer and Championship Manager...:dozey: Voted 2nd best Amiga game ever by readers of Amiga Power. Gravity Power was the third incarnation of the Gravity Force franchise and was free on a cover disk of Amiga Power.

I wish they'd release an online version for XboxLive Arcade. It'd clean up, but the original makers aren't really too bothered about reviving the thing - there are loads of versions available - I just use the original version on an Amiga emulator, but still no one will play with me.

Wow, that is an old game, looks quite good though considering - they were clever back then with the superimposing technique. I also liked the games that were in tables. I'm going to get me one of those one day...

No idea really, although I'm sure I played something similar on my cousins' BBC once. It was called something like 'Quick Draw' or 'Pistols At Dawn' or 'Gunfight'... I really am just guessing here.

There aren't that many (apart from Boot Hill and the couple I said) but I'm just guessing any Western games I can find.

Yeah, a clue would be nice - or try to find another (bigger) screen.

It's not Oddworld - Stranger's Wrath is it? I don't really think so because that is all weird creatures plus it's not 2003.

Would I be right in thinking that it was on the Dreamcast?

You would be correct in that assumption although I do believe it was later released on the PS2.

*It's definately not crappy.

**It's Japanese in origin, but was released over here - that screen just happens to be the Japanese version.

***I suppose it is the kind of game that might attract girls but I suspect the majority of buyers were male.

****It's NOT a dancing game (meaning you can use a dance mat to control?), but it IS a rhthym game where the characters on screen dance, a la 'Parappa The Rapper'.
