I don't understand that statement, both of them have won races in their previous teams, I think it's a good pick and don't really consider them slow or anything, it's basically down to the car being rubbish.

I think Red Bull screwed Perez over as he was clearly the better driver for their crappy car compared to the other 2 drivers they have tried.

I'm pleased they're back on the grid but let's be honest Cadillac is likely to be a back marker team for a while unless they somehow pull a Brawn.

Fatso Bottas massively overachieved with Hamiltons car. 10 wins in near 250 races. Really fast Perez has 6 wins in near 300 races. They both should be renamed slimfast for the new season :woot:

Perez may have 6 wins in 300 races but that isn't bad considering Max was his team mate, and it's a well known fact the Red Bull car was always geared towards Max, and the very one else who drives it struggles.

Bottas and Perez were doing well in the red bull and mercedes car respectively finishing on the podium frequently but they couldn't keep it up for a championship which is a reflection of themselves. Both Bottas and Perez had the advantage of superior teammates and they should have capitalised on it. Rosberg did.

Really pleased Oscar won, unlucky for Lando but for me driver of the day was Hadjar he did a fantastic job and with it being his first podium in F1 is a great achievement considering what he was driving.

Just as well I cancelled my F1 TV Pro US subscription in favour of watching it on my IPTV setup because it's been announced people in the US will get it via an Apple TV subscription as they now have the rights for the next 5 years.

I don't care about the commentators so I believe the picture is the same as Sky, the only thing I can't do with my Sky IPTV UHD feed is switch around the cameras, but the novelty of that went away quickly.

Nice to see the Ferraris up there, Pastry seems to have lost his mojo, I still hope he wins the Championship though. Red bull seem to have fixed their slow car(atleast for Max) but I think he's too far back to win it unless both McLarens crash out often.

If Norris wins the Mexican GP, Pastry needs to be 4th or better to not be behind in the championship, I think Norris is becoming the favourite now, not sure why Pastry is struggling.

Great race for Norris, virtual safety car saved Leclerc from losing P2, excellent drive from Bearman, nice recovery for Pastry but I feel Lewis 10 second penalty wasn't fair because it was ultimately caused by Maxes first lap dive bombing.

The virtual safety car nearly screwed him. Max gained a lot when it was deployed. He was nowhere near as close prior.

Just remembered i need to setup IPTV on my tablet so I can use the PS5 Pro at the same time, I can't give up gaming time for a snorfest!

My IPTV trial has been extremely successful with everything, for some reason my 1 month expires on March 6th even though the email says otherwise, shame I didn't notice before renewing.

Yer it's unlikely he can win the championship and if Lando has atleast 2 DNFs then Pastry would be the likely champion as long as he gets a few wins.

I'm hoping for a clean race today, I don't want any first corner chaos because it'll change the championship and I don't want Mad Max to win again.

Hopefully Lando finishes ahead by enough points to take the championship, but it is what it is if Max wins, and it'll be McLarens fault for getting their cars disqualified in the last race.

Fair enough, we have discussed this before though, the problems are noted on the internet going back 10+ years, you're just the only person I know online that gets all giddy and jumps up and down in your skimpy shorts in your living room every time he wins, I'm just having a bit of fun though :D I'm not going to sulk if he does win the Championship, the reason Lando may not win is because of McLaren things.

What I'd like to see is Lando and Max take each other out and Pastry wins, that'll be a good comeback.

As for my favourite Lewis Hamilton he needs to retire and I think he will after 2026 if things go as bad as this year.

Hamilton should have stayed at Mercedes but they didn't want to give him the contract length, it's a shame because the car is alot better again and they reportibly have the best engine for next year( not sure how people know this).

I think it's down to everyone else messing up, Lando just needs to finish on the podium, whatever happens I don't really care just like I don't care about football, but I would like another drive and team to win for a change.

I haven't been watching the qualifying but Lewis is again knocked out of Q1 this is 3 times in a row, either Ferrari's car is really bad or Lewis is washed.

So Max took pole with Lando second, that is actually good for Lando, Max can drive off into the sunset for all I care and then Lando just needs to chill out and hopefully the 2 McLarens won't crash on the first corner.

It would be better if Max was far down the field though in case Lando runs into car trouble and can't finish on the podium.

You'd imagine all the teams will run their engines at maximum power minus tire management. I can only foresee your point of clashes at the beginning of the race. Max should indeed drive into the sunset.

There is going to be alot of Max and Lando fans with extreme anxiety on the first lap I'm hoping I've trained myself not to be one of them as I don't really care at this stage, the championship could be decided by the first corner, let the chaos begin!

Stressful race for Lando but well done! glad Max hasn't retained it because it was time for a change.
