I watched the highlights again this morning. We really need to do everything we can to keep Brett Finch next season, especially with Tommy leaving. He really is a different class. But thats for next season, we will enjoy this one first :)

Thats not good news for you over Finch

Shadow Demon UK 09-06-2012 16:16

Re: Super league

I was expecting him to go back home, but its still disapointing and a blow for next season with the other players that are leaving. Apparently Matty Smith is a done deal for next season, but he is no where near the quality of the players that are leaving, so we shall see what next season brings, but enjoy this one first. I agree about the Wigan v Warrington cup final, hopefully we will meet in two finals this season ;) :)

Anyone else think these "Exiles" games are a ruddy waste of time.
Last nights game was like watching paint dry.
I'm also a bit peed off about the injury to Tommy Leuluai in what was a totally meaningless game, could cost Wigan dear.
The second one is just days before the Challenge cup semis,I hope Ian Leneghan tells the RFL where to shove it and witholds any Wigan players.
Rant over!!!!

Yep complete waste of time, The RFL are completely out of touch and are bending over backwards to accommodate Sky if you ask me. I hope the managers of both Warrington and Wigan tell them to stuff the exiles games where the sun does not shine as we both have Challenge cup games soon and i for one want a trip to Wembley this year. If they want to fill Wembley again then they need a Warrington V Wigan game for the final :).

l personally am not a fan of resting players because generally it backfires a lot and a team can lose cohesion for severals matches afterwards as well.

Warrington Having finished as runners up, Wigan will be very wary of picking Tony Smiths side, especially after their 30-10 and 22-20 defeats during the regular season. It appears that the Warriors can't beat the Wolves in 2012, but with home advantage, against a Warrington side with one days less rest that the Rhinos, and without the Rhinos play-off pedigree, would they be an easier opponent?

Selecting Warrington would ensure that they had an extra reason for a big performance, being selected over the Rhinos!

It's mission impossible for Wigan, caught between the devil and the deep blue sea. They will undoubtedly go with tradition and pick the Rhinos, but it could easily be a decision that they could live to regret come 10pm on Friday night.
I don't care to be honest but if the pies pick us i will be happy, They are not a threat to us any more just look at the track record for the last 2 years :D. Wigans coach is a Neanderthal just like hock so it would not surprise me if he picks us whilst beating his chest with his fists .

BTW have you seen the latest rumours on RLFANS about Mr Hock ?[COLOR="Silver"]

Lets face it Wigan are not going to take on the team that has beaten them home and away this year and last year are they. Should we both make it to the final we all know we can rely on Tomkin's to bottle and drop his catches again

I think it was more picking the team we have beaten home and away this season and who finished lower in the table rather than avoiding Warrington ;)

l think its more giving Warrington a little bit more time to pluck up their courage before they face impending defeat in the final.;):D

Also, I think we would rather get saints in the final, make it 6 final losses in a row. We know they've got the beating of you lot :)

But the fact remains when it comes to any major final there is only ever going to be one winner and in your heart of hearts l am sure you know who that is going to be.:)
