However Virgin don't need to call it '+' as they don't have an existing Anytime service

This is where the confusion is. To get Sky Anytime + you have to have Sky HD and Sky Broadband. I have my broadband through VM, so I don't get the + service.

If I was a Sky customer I would be peeved about that, with VM you don't even need broadband to get Anytime+.

Yes its a mix of Sky Anytime content for the Sky channels that VM carry with some Anytime+ content. It will have the bonus of being instantly available something not possible on Sky , SD is usually ready to play in around 20 seconds on my 9.5mb connection however HD movies can take 5 minutes or more , this won't be a problem for VM users.

Your right, once it rolls out on VM Sky can't keep that policy, maybe that's one of the reason that the launch date is so vague, Sky has to change that first.

Cheers MM it is just due to the link that Den posted earlier in the thread.

http://www.virginmedia.com/movies/fe...rgin-media.php

As if you watch the video it shows Despicable Me and it Premiere's on this Friday. So if the video is for the VM customers to show Anytime it could be here before then? Or they could just be showing Movie's:confused:

I must admit it does sound strange that Sky would allow VM customers to get a better deal than they give their own. Traditionally it has been the other way around.
