Just to add, my account only shows 1 TiVo refund fee even after having emailed them to enquire about having two and them replying to say I would receive a £100 credit. I shall give them a call now and see what happens.

My Virgin Media is now showing an extra 50 pounds credit for my second tivo box (100 pounds total).

AARGh - seriously - it's about communication!! Couldn't check online today, but it only showed £50 credit two nights ago so I rang today and was told that the credit wasn't per TiVo - that it was a one-off refund of the installation charge!! I had to read the email through to her and she had to go back and check with her manager who confirmed that it was a refund per cost of TiVo not installation (which I didn't pay anyway) so apparently the 2nd £50 credit has been put on my account for next month's bill.
She had assumed it was to do with installation as whatever deal she had they had recently refunded her installation fee and just assumed that's what all the refunds were about. I hate feeling like a stroppy cow on the phone but I had to be really firm to get her to check on it because she was completely convinced it was nothing to do with cost and all to do with installation. I do feel bad for the frontline call centre staff because it's likely not entirely their fault. It may be in how the information is disseminated to them. Anyway, fingers crossed all is good. I can't check as the online billing is down again. It seems for me that I can only access it about 5 days a month and the rest it says unavailable. |

I checked My Virgin Media and on my bill that has been produced/printed it shows a 50 pound discount but on my "current bill" that hasn't been printed/produced yet I have also a £50 one-off discount. I only had 1 Tivo Box installed so I was wondering if anyone else had this or did they make a mistake? not that I'm complaining ;)!

I would think they will notice at some point and bill you an extra £50 one month. If I were you I would let them know so you don't get a shock a few months down the line.

Trying not to sound like a broken record, but just happened across this thread and was totally unaware of this refund proposal.
Appears it was announced approx 3 weeks ago.... well no email here nor has any credit been applied to my account as yet. I'm not one to be impatient and jump straight in.... so does anyone know if the emails are still going out? (3 weeks after announcement) How long should I leave it until phoning up to query it? My last bill was generated 12/07 so I'm thinking I should wait until my next bill is generated on/around 12/08 .... that seem reasonable? |

So after getting my refund before this was announced, my next bill has been generated and there's a £50 Tivo credit on there too... obviously the automated one has gone on as well as the one I got earlier.
Tried phoning up to query it but offshore don't seem to have a clue and just kept repeating "yes sir that is correct" seemingly unaware that getting two refunds isn't correct. 3 agents and not one understood what I was getting it. Going to give up and just wait for VM to figure it out. |

Right - well next bill is in and a bit frustrated. For those of you who have/had TWO TiVo's installed and rang up to ensure you got the second credit please double and triple check your bill. I was assured (after arguing with the rep that it was NOT an installation refund so I WAS supposed to get £50 per TiVo) that the second refund had been credited, but I am only ever able to access my online bill the week it's released. The rest of the month I cannot access it due to 'website issues' which seems to happen every month. So I had no way of verifying till I got my bill today whether it had actually gone through.
Despite assurances that it had, I only had the single £50 refund. When I called up he had to go back through the notes and saw where it had been approved, but no one had actually bothered to follow through and action it. So he got immediate approval to action it now and apply it to this bill (ie reduce my DD by £50 and 'carry over' a balance to next month's bill where it will balance out). Again - I appreciate the great service I've been getting when I've been having to call, but I shouldn't have had to call to get the refund for the second TiVo in the first place, and then I shouldn't have had to call AGAIN to get it actually actioned. I actually DON'T want to moan, but it's the little things... Anyway, for those of you who had two and were assured you were getting the 2nd refund, just double check |

About a week later (which was about a week ago) I phoned for a third time and was told there were notes on the account for the second credit and that it would definitely get actioned before my next bill. Still nothing though. I shall wait another week then contact them again I think. My bill isn't due to be created until the 25th or so. |

No email or credit as yet for me so rang up today and was advised it could be up to 8 weeks from the start of July.
Was wanting to put it towards another Tivo as the V+HD box is terrible in comparison. Mimar |

The guy I spoke to kept me on the line until he had actually put it through and then changed my DD amount so it wouldn't take the whole thing. Good luck - hope you get it sorted! I had a £50 credit on last months bill for my Tivo, just got my next bill and I have yet another £50 credit!!!
I'm not complaining at that, looks like the billing software has gotten confused? |

I still haven't received my second £50 refund. 6 phone calls and one email, each time promising it will be done "today". One week after my last call and still no refund. I really don't know what to do next!

It is a complete farse. I tried that on my last call. The guy said he couldn't do that but would email the TiVo team and once he got a reply would call me that evening. That was last Monday!
