Re: Tech Guy did it perfect
If he is on 100Mb then he must use a Superhub no ifs or buts as Pip found out a few weeks ago.
So if he is insisting that he is using a VMNG300 he cannot be on 100Mb as that is not allowed and he would be the only customer connected in this way. I feel this thread is aimed at the VMNG300 wanabee's who want 100Mb without the Superhub. |
Re: Tech Guy did it perfect
he wouldnt be the only customer as you know from reading this forum there is at least 2 others masque ;)
|
Re: Tech Guy did it perfect
He's gotten 8 pages out of you guys, I'd say he wins.

Now if they are on 100Mb it will fail one day in the none to distant future so nothing to be proud of anyway and they will have to get a Superhub or have no connection.:D |

Re: Tech Guy did it perfect
It you that are genuine wrong ;)
It may support the speed but VM will not installed 100Mb without the Superhub. |
Re: Tech Guy did it perfect
So, it strange as tech guy swap the vmng300 modem from my superhub as they say to me that superhub cannot handle wi-fi performance well with a loss of 50% of speed reduced! Instead they use vmng300 modem.
I have to wait until thursday see what the tech guy say about vmng300 modem on my 100 meg (i hope he not take it away and put my superhub back on) ---------- Post added at 15:31 ---------- Previous post was at 15:29 ---------- I am looking for DSL/Cable modem bonding together to gain more speed eg: Cable 100/10 plus DSL 7/0.3 to make it possible 107/10.03 is it possible do that ? Got my ebilling for tv xl with sky sports & movies HD, phone xl and broadband 100 cost me £527.68 (with partial service and charge for 2 x v+ hd boxes) :( |

Also over £500! have they decided to charge you for all the installs of all the changes in your broadband speed? Lmao. |

they charge me for extra boxes (v+ HD)

Re: Tech Guy did it perfect
There should be a cable forum warning automatically placed at the bottom of all of Telford Cable's posts.
"Cable Forum Warning" Reading and believing any of Telford Cables posts will rot you brains and make you look foolish  |
Re: Tech Guy did it perfect
I can somehow see 4chan using various pics of engineer type guys in various predicaments but solving them, with the caption "Tech Guy did it Perfect!"

Can't get full upstream due to congestion but disabled wireless on the Superhub, installed a shiny new E4200 and suddenly... Download Speed: 50727 kbps (6340.9 KB/sec ) Upload Speed: 1371 kbps (171.4 KB/sec ) http://www.speedtest.bbmax.co.uk/res...319&v=12782831 Incidentally even at 5GHz and using the dongle I still couldn't break ~30Mbit/s. I note jb66 also commenting on Superhub wireless performance. Given he's a residential tech I would speculate he's in a better place to comment on it than yourself working in Business. I appreciate yourself and Masque have absolutely flawless Superhubs that never need reloading, deliver perfect latency and offer fabulous wireless performance from the other side of the globe. Some aren't as fortunate. |

4chan has gone down to the lowest ever, not happy in allowing the kids to take reign over /b/ with boxxy (and now recently Chloe), dubs+trips+quads+quint, nude girls and lets attack this site threads, they have now put WWE music on when you enter.
It is so much /facepalming But yeah I remember the days of Numpty and his world wide travels :P |

At the moment my observation on this thread is that TC is running rings round the lot of you, and he is by no means the only fool to have posted in this thread. And a general note, not aimed specifically at anyone: Please do not assume that just because this thread remains open for posting, that we have somehow suspended the forum rules. We have not. There have been more than enough warnings and further examples of baiting, arguing, off-topic posting or challenging moderator posts *will* result in infractions. If you cannot abide by these instructions, then do not post in the thread at all. |
Re: Tech Guy did it perfect
Right the tech guy just been here and say my power level for 100 meg is now resolved and got max out 98.3Meg downloads and 9.83Meg uploads. He say I can continue to kept my VMNG300 for time being until the superhub fixed the firmware until late 2011 and he say that superhub still issues with 100 & 200 Meg
---------- Post added at 13:35 ---------- Previous post was at 13:29 ---------- I am still in talk and discussing with British Telecom Business of possible getting a Leased Line Fibre Optic (1:1) 100Meg down and 100Meg up £799.99 exc vat per month) 12 months contract with no throttle, no traffic management, totally UNLIMITED usages. |

Surely what TC is on now is adequate for his needs, maybe a lot more than adequate? |
