Let the butchering of The Beatles songs commence ...starting with that god awful performance of "Come Together"

Mary was really good tonight, probably the best out of the lot with Wagner coming close second

Sasha222 21-11-2010 00:04

Re: X Factor: 2010

Out of the whole lot Paije was the best. I had to put on the mute button after a few words from the others. On Xtra factor Louis Walsh was very rude to the girl who gave her opinion about kate. It's an opinion line and he may not have liked what he said but that's what the line is open for. Why is she being protected so much. Danny out of all the judges says it as she sees it and I admire her for that

WAGNER has got through, PLEASE, PLEASE, all those sick people out there who are voting for this idiot, please stop, he cannot sing at all, he completely ruined the Beatles songs, and two GOOD singers could be going home.

Has anyone on The Xtra Factor said anything about the internet joke to keep Wagner in every week? there was a question earlier to Cheryl Bloody Cole asking her why she thought Wagner was being voted over the other acts. she said she doesn't know.
it's obvious the show and it's producers know about it.

The joke it is. I think it's a bit unfair for people to actually blame Wagner for it. what's he supposed to do, volunteer to leave the show when he knows he might win and make loads of money? :D

He should leave if he had any decency in him looking at good acts going over him when he cant sing. I would have more respect for him

Peter_ 21-11-2010 23:21

Re: X Factor: 2010

They are keeping Wagner in because he is a cash cow and the votes will be stacked in his favour that is if they are actually taken into consideration at all, remember this programme belongs to SYCO and you know who owns that.

Each year they have what is basically a clown/hate act that everyone wants rid of but week after week they survive! do you really believe that the are that many stupid people out there voting, more likely the so called voting system is manipulated to ensure the dud act stays therefore generating more money.

Also I believe that each year they already know who the 3 finalists will be well before they ever get to that point, if you believe otherwise then I just happen to have this bridge for sale to you only at a cheap rate.

The will be ways and means as I do not believe for one second that in a genuine vote that rubbish like him and the idiot twins from last year would survive the first weeks live vote.

You know whats going on, people who "hate" the show watch and vote for wagner, its so sooo obvious.

Do people not have anything better to do with there spare time other than picking the phone up and saving a complete moron who can't sing, GAWD DAMN, makes me angry.

Also im feeling sorry for Katy, at first i couldn't stand her and i thought she was fake, but i've come to like her, again MORON people sending her death threats for the reason of?, i don't understand this public what so ever.

I think Cher should have been voted of by the judges tonight and not Paije. Me and my step mum said the same thing about Matt not being as good as previous weeks and also paige should of been saved, he has so much more to offer, Cher will probably get a record contract anyway when she leaves haha.

My sister said Matt looks like a thinner version of Johnny Vegas, haha i don't see it myself.

If thats the case why is Cher still in it? It's actually a vehicle for Cowell to make money. He wants the person who will sell the most records to win, and if that person is not the strongest singer, he won't care. If he was voting on the strongest singer he would have voted Paige in and not Cher.

Cowell has said when it came to voting who goes that he's basing his decision on who the public (audience) want to stay in. he didn't do it last night. although he was thinking about it.

The thing is the public dont like Cher hense being in the bottom two and if the prat Walshe had put it to deadlock he Cher would have gone. The public dont like Katie either and I'm surprised that she made it past the bottom two last night. Louie Walsh has been slagging Cher of all week and yet decides to save her last night.

The fact that Katie wasn't in the bottom 2 means that the public are changing their mind throughout the show. I like them all but I don't vote. I let the angry and frustrated public spend their money for me instead :)

It's not a singing competition.

Firstly it's an ego trip for Simon Cowell, and St Cheryl of Cole.

Secondly it's an entertainment show, if it was a singing competition Wagner would not have even got through the first round of auditions, every year they put through someone similar, Chico, jedward, Wagner etc. for entertainment value.

If it was a singing competition then Cowell would not have put through Katie pver Trayc after he himself said that Trayc was the better singer???

I want Wagner to win as it will go a long way to killing the series off. Jo Mceldry (spelling) nearly did it but not quite.

Wagner winning would make a mockery of the process, I want him in the final at the very least.

Sasha222 24-11-2010 20:41

Re: X Factor: 2010

I agree that the judges have a lot to answer for by putting them forward to the finals but why destroy what was once a good show, well until the Jedward stupid thing happened. Why no not go the other way and vote the stupid acts out who cant sing and then let it be a singing compition. :erm:

Arthurgray50@blu 26-11-2010 23:01

Pleading thread - the x factor

Tomorrow night sees another show, and l am pleading with everyone- lets end this stupidty of constantly spending too much money on that idiot WAGNER, the singer is getting a large fan base.

In this in the end that it will be embarrassment to ITV and Simon Cowell, but the worst thing that will happen is that there will be genuine people who want to vote for the act, and therefore will be 'technically' wasting there money, when l heard of this crazy voting for this idiot, it ruined the show for me, and l stopped voting.
Remember, this show is about finding an act, that could not find there way into the record business by the normal way, so went onto a reality show.

The show is a total joke anyway. It used to be a about finding a star, someone that took the world by storm becuase they had a real singing talent.
Last year Jedward showed us how much this show isnt about music anymore and now Wagner is doing it this year.

Sorry Arthur, never been a fan of X-Factor/Pop Idol so anything that gets the show off the air is fine by me.

Having said that, it was my understanding that the people that make it into the voting section of the show do so because the "expert judges" decided to put them there. If they were putting people into that part of the show on the basis that they were making up the numbers then serves them right for that as well.

People managed to get record deals before X-Factor and will continue to get them after as well. We don't need to be spoon fed the people we should like by a TV programme.

It's difficult to live a life and avoid the thing even if you don't watch it. It's all over the place. I know a number of people who think it's great but they're only let out on weekends and they have to wear some strange jackets. ;)

My only wish for it to be removed is that we can hope it's replaced with something I do like. If people want to watch it or even have a channel completely devoted to it then fine, don't bother me. Personally, I'd like it gone.

Sasha222 27-11-2010 12:48

Re: X Factor: 2010

Ya thats your choice if you want it removed. Your entitled to that but theres hundreds of channels that you have a choice to go to. It's not like that channel all of a sudden on It's own comes on and you have to watch it. I would like a lot of things gone as well but I do understand that what is not my taste is othere peoples so there for I respect that. Soccer takes over the soaps sometimes but that is the way it is and the way they decide to run the programmes. Does it annoy me of course it does but I just go away and watch something else. I dont call for sport to be removed.

I just accept other people do like different things and thats it. I dont go on threads slagging of what the people like and giving out about it.

They must have more money than sense. I wouldn't be surprised if Matt was in the bottom two as he is telling the truth about the joke of keeping in Wagner and speaking out about it which some people dont like. I think either Cher or Mary could be at the bottom but It's hard to call :(

Re: X Factor: 2010

I strongly believe that the bottom Two will be Mary Byrne and Cher will be in the bottom two, and it will be very sad.

By far the worst performance of the night, again was Wagner. He cannot sing, or perform, and yet people are insuring that he wins the show, they must be totally mindless *****,.

I also believe that One Direction will win with Matt in second place, IF Wagner wins, then l think it will be a travesty . And the people that have lost there money on voting, should claim it back.

Sasha222 27-11-2010 22:36

Re: X Factor: 2010

Unless there was a fix in the phone lines to make someone a winner then I dont think the people will get there money back just becasue of Wagner winning the show. If he was voted fair and square then there is nothing that can be done about it. People are just voting to annoy Simon Cowell for Wagner in there droves but what they are forgetting they are building up his bank account and no matter what happens Simon Cowell will be have to give him a record deal.

All the songs were boring tonight but out of all of them Matt was the best out of a bad bunch.

I have to say Danny is the best judge and is not afraid to speak her mind and say how it is. The other judges are tone deaf this year

Arthur - you can call me Lee as that's my name :)

What's wrong with him - he's entertaining - XFactor is a joke of a show anyway. He's going all the way - watch this space! :)

Simon Cowell actually likes 'novelty' acts, they're the ones that will make him the most money.

Katie will go tonight for definate. and I think Cher too.

I predict that Wagner will stay there till the final where he wins and we all eagerly wait for his Xmas single to come out and nobody buys it :)

I can see that Cheryl holds herself back from being the real person she is deep inside. if they do both go tonight. I wouldn't be surprised if she starts swearing a lot shouting in an incomprehensible manner things about Wagner.
the only thing she has done being herself was farting last week :)

Lee, let me say this, I have watched all the reality shows on tv, they are entertaining, and they give the oppotunity for someone to fulful there dream.

I believe in 'fairness' on these shows, but you always get some idiot that will spoil it for everyone, l used to spend about £5.00 /£10 per week voting for someone that l like, But l have now stopped, as it is a waste of money, if there are people prepared to splash money to ruin it for SC, what is happening is they are filling his pocket.

Like the childist behaviour at Xmas with rage, to make the crappy record No I over the X Factor record, l believe in Fairness thats all.

I think I must have had an out of body experience or summit last night, because I actually thought Wagner's first song was fairly good! :erm::erm: I think that all Rebecca and Katie's songs sound the same to me. I don't reckon Cher, she is nothing special, I do like Mary although she can be a bit shouty at times (alright call me old fashioned). Two acts are being voted off tonight, I doubt one will be Wagner. The final will be between One Direction and Matt, and the winner will be, whichever of the two acts sings the best song on the night.

I've never really watch xFactor - the only ones I watch religiously is The Apprentice, I'm a Celebrity and Coach Trip. Oh and Dragons Den if you can call that a reality show. I've never voted for anybody on IAC.

Well it's happening again this year - have you heard? ;) Anything to keep XFactor off the No#1 spot I say! Including Wagner - if he wins.

While I personally don't find these shows entertaining, I can see a lot of people do. These "talent" shows are (IMO) there to perform several purposes. They are there to entertain the viewers. They are there to make money for the producers. In the case of the the theatre based ones, they are also there to generate publicity for the particular theatre production they are auditioning for a part in.

One thing they are not there to do is provide a lasting career for the winner, or any of the contestants. It *may* happen, but as soon as the next series starts, the previous contestants are forgotten.

As a matter of fact, I have a friend who does lighting for West End productions (things like "We Will Rock You"). He hates the talent contest winners. Why? Simple. Because they have won a contest, they come into a production with the attitude that they are the most important thing in the production, and they know everything. Forgetting the fact that they also need good lighting, good sound, good direction and good writing. They also need a *lot* of other things to be good before they look good.

As for the Rage Against The Machine thing. I liked that song and supported it. Why? Because I see the timing of the X factor final (and the inevitable singles and albums released by the finalists) as a cynical attempt by Simon Cowell to cash in on Christmas. If he isn't cashing in, why does the X factor end when it does? He could always shorten it by a couple of weeks, or lengthen it.

Katie gone and the judges will all vote Wagner apart from Louis Walsh. So good deal all around. Cher next week to go. I'm so so happy. And Matt should win as he is the best singer.

common sense has prevailed on good riddance to the idiot, l bet someone will now try and derail the show to the end.

All these threats against Katie, can now relax as she goes along with the idiot, and Simon even said, that people have tried to derail the show, as l have said, no one will beat him.

My prediction for the rest of the series;
Matt o Win
Mary 2nd
One Direction third.

The reason l say that is, those idiots that are after 'SC' will do there best to make sure he doesn't go anywhere near the top spot.

And next year it will be a total revamp to insure that the farce of the last two years and wont allowed again.

Apart from Novelty acts (such as Mr Blobby), the music Simon Cowell picks is so bland that it's almost offensive. Why should his acts automatically get near the top?

Leona done very well and is a fantastic singer and they will never get someone like that again. All her tours were sold out this year. I got her concert DVD and It's fantastic.

Both of them deserve a contract.

Matt is the best of the bad bunch but I think Rebbecca is not as good as the judges are making out she is

Not happy that Wagner went but Mary deserved to stay, the good thing about the whole voting for Wagner to stay has filtered out some of the crap acts. Cher can't win, she's terrible and hope she goes next week. I want Matt, Mary and One Direction as the final three
