I've not had any handed out yet. To be honest i don't see anything great about WAVE so probably won't use it, but maybe it'll do something interesting 1 day! :)

OK, I have just offered invites to:

They were chosen based on being "people who had asked before, & then asked again when I bumped the thread". This is as I don't know how up to date the list is & I did not want to offer invites to people who may have since already been invited.

I think mikegreen should be on the list? The idea behind the limits is too avoid people signing up for the sake of invites and spamming the board. Mikegreen has been here a while and simply has not made 100 posts?

So it's an email app.
It's a chat app
it's a group chat ap.
It's a way to tie up lots of aspects of google together..could be useful for giving directions in emails seeing as Google maps are nicely included.

I shall have to play and at least I already have some contacts..:)

How long does it take for you to receive your invite? I've not had mine yet even though Damien sent it to me on Friday.

Damien sent mine at 14:41 yesterday (Saturday).
It arrived in my Gmail inbox at 22:49 so about 8 hours.

I then got 20 invites in my Wave inbox at 2:47am this morning (4 hours after joining!).

Told Google to send the invites out to all that PM'd me except for mr_moo who I haven't heard from yet. If he hasn't responded by tomorrow around lunch probably best to stick him back on the list.

Hope they come through soon for you as it seems some are taking longer than others.

I'm quite active in my Google Mail account and have an Android phone linked to it so maybe Google sent mine early because I'm like their beeatch?

I only just realized that Google Wave must have pulled my real name & details from my Gmail account settings but i`ve managed to change it over to xpod ok.

Can I ask anyone who has had a 'nomination' sent to be patient. We have no idea how and when Google send you the invites out and have no control over them (oh how I wish I had!).

You can rest assured that if it was sent from me, it was done correctly. It may take time, you just need to be patient. Remember its still in preview and Google won't be wanting millions of users on all at the same time.
