Some of these browsers that are mentioned tho, u have to wonder how secure they are compared to the big boys like IE, Firefox and Chrome.

I know this thread is ancient, but I recently came across Opera's new Neon browser and I keep telling people about it. It's pretty bonkers, maybe not for everyday use, but really worth a try nonetheless :)

Just had Firefox updated - nice and fast, 64 bit... sharp as a pin. ;) 10 out of 10.

I usually use the beta versions of Firefox and have been very happy with Quantum. Speed is quite impressive and I'm looking forward to setting it up on my Phone.

FF 56.0.1 did that last month - if you were on 64 bit windows, it switched you to the 64 bit version.

Sticking with Firefox ESR52 as it supports the Java plugin I still need. I can't update the server side (yet) so Java needed and I use mixture of Windows and Linux so don't want to use browsers stuck on one O/S such as IE11.

firefox is my preferred desktop web browser, but I like Puffin on my mobile, 'cos I prefer the way you can open new tabs over other browsers, interesting to see that there's now a desktop version.

I am not.

I reverted back to 56.0.2, since v57 (quantum) disabled all my add-ons.

Re: List of web browsers for you all

Quantum did disable a few of my addons but the addons were updated to work with Quantum.

Same problem for me so still use 56.0.2 can't see me going to quantum as my favourite ap is no longer supported and I have failed to find anything that works as well.
