I see ITV has announced they are launching ITV2, 3 and 4 go HD in the autumn, does that only apply as usual to Sky or are virgin also showing these channels.

It's exclusive to sky for satellite (So Freesat won't have access to them) But they are in talks with Virgin Media as they are Cable.

Any news on More4 HD? It seems odd there is a C4HD, an E4HD, a Film4 HD, but not a More4 HD.

Hi MB. According to this weeks Total TV Guide, Page 11, Sky Movies Classics HD will be launching on Sky Monday August 9th.

Did VMs Movies HD package agreed with Sky include the launch of the above channel? ? we shlll have to wait and see. :)

I can understand why Adam Crozier is moving ITV into the pay-TV market, but is there really going to be a viable market for ITV-2-3-4 in HD.
I mean we are not talking about Sky sports or movies here, and look at the furore over the £7pm charge for these premium channels, at least for that you got twelve channels of the latest movies and best sport in HD, I cannot imagine people shelling out anymore than two or three pounds a month for these mediocre channels.
I'm thinking of Arthur Daly in HD along with George Sewell in UFO on moon-base one in HD, a very niche market indeed.

Oops almost forgot a big selling point for some folks could be Jim Bowen in Bullseye now available in glorious high definition, imagine it, you could see the same old speedboat wheeled out in superb clarity accompanied by the dulcet tones of old Jim saying, "never mind folks lets see what you could've won":)

Behind the paywall surely means into the Sky mixes, not a separate fee for just those channels. No one in their right mind would pay for them on their own, HD or no HD.

Yes I think the reports have indicated it will be part of the HD pack on Sky, so presumably they will be in XL if/when they show up on VM.

they don't even have FiveHD on nevermind the new sky HD channels.

Wonder when we will get Sky 1 HD :(
