No, XL isn't the same as the Premier Collection - as the Collection covers BB / TV and Telco

You can have the TV part of a Collection, but you need all parts for it to count as a Collection.

Now, this could be significant. I was expecting MGM HD to launch with the Sky channels as it is connected to the Sky negotiations.

If true, Thursday could be quite interesting....

I wasn't actually expecting any channels to launch during the Netflix rollout either. I'm a little cautious about this piece of news, but if you're right, theone, this is looking very good indeed!

You'll get it but only by re-contracting for another 12 months

I really don't see why that's such a big issue.

VM are a business, so aren't doing six months free for no reason. It's there to gain or retain customers - so in return they will want some guarantee that it's doing that.

Ben, I don't think the legacy VIP Pack is available now. Are customers on the "old" VIP Packs still eligible for this do you know?

I agree, Ben. Competition is fierce and you can't blame Virgin Media for attempting to lock people in.

If people want the freedom to hop about between suppliers, they are going to have to weigh up the cost/benefits of doing so!

I don't think so, Dave, you just have to sign up to the pack that is best for you.

But the small print reads:
2 Customers already taking the Premiere or VIP Collections package will need to re-contract for another 12 months to enjoy the six month gift subscription to Netflix. Limited availability. After the initial promotion period Netflix will cost £5.99 on a month-by-month basis.

As far as I understand, yes. If you do have any problems though, do post here though.
