No sign of amazon on TiVo and virgin customer services said they know nothing about it and to wait for a letter or email about any brand new services not forums

Hopefully MediaBoy will get an update from his source in due course. I still think it's likely soon but that's really just guesswork.

Virgin have not officially announced the launch of Amazon on its system. Media Boy has been told it should appear today, and as today is not yet over, no need for an update.

If virgin told customers better what was going on, things would be bettered

I think Netflix has moved to 204, I'm sure there was something else on 205 but now 205 has been removed

I know that linear channels are normally added in the early hours of the morning, not sure about apps.

In the same way that Clubland TV is now fully utilising their EPG slot, I wonder why Netflix doesn't have a preview channel on channel 204 to entice customers or even show a freebie to drum up interest?

Maybe OTT broadcasters don't need a traditional broadcasting licence, so they can't??

Or perhaps VM would charge them for the extra bandwidth??

could be a sign the other 3 could be put on channel numbers :welcome:

people with the V+ box can now watch clubland tv on 345

I remember when these channels were added, people complained to them that they were via an app.

On their Facebook page, the channel owner said that this was the only way that VM would allow them to be on the platform.

I never really swallowed this as I'm sure if they had paid enough money, they could have been added as linear channels.

Perhaps it was a case of them telling VM how much they could afford or be prepared to pay and VM said that an app based solution was the only option- allowing them to 'blame' VM.

I wonder if the new guy who says that he is to improve the TV side of VM had anything to do with this??

Still 4 hours of 'today' to go, and remember, VM have not promised us anything. So we can't complain if it doesn't appear.

But we probably will. :D
