Cable Forum - General Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 1.

I have Sky movies HD and I don't think I could bear to sit and watch a film with adverts in ever again, I have tried to watch film 4HD and can't, sky might get it but I bet everybody with Sky Movies won't watch it.

I record every programme I want to watch and this way I can avoid the ads altogether simply by fast forwarding.

We had a poll on HD picture quality and opinions varied dramatically on which channel people thought was best....

SONY own them and the last deal sign was in late 2011 when SONY TV UK launch on Virgin Channel 193.

good stuff on film 4 this week. godfather trilogy (ok everyones seen them, and III is so bad I switched it off half way through)

All part of them posturing towards future TV licence tax income. No doubt they will want a levy on all broadband connections at some point or something similar.

You still require a TV license to watch live TV on the internet, they're pretty much future proofed forever.

Discovery do not broadcast an Discovery Science HD channel in the UK and Ireland.

But Animal Planet HD, E! HD and Universal Channel HD will launch on Virgin TV soon (It will be after Easter now).
