No, it's separate capacity from VOD.

sky could be looking to crush BT.sky know virgin wont drive them out of business but BT will find it hard to get new broad band and tv to sign up.sky will not make a loss because they still get money for the channel. BT has only two channel to shell.sky are thinking a head two three years .

You mean in the same way that BT would never let us have their Sports channels and offer them on XL?

Fox + and Disney hd are confirmed but their launch has been delayed due to a TiVo update being pushed in some pilot areas which, among a few improvements, includes a Netflix app. Netflix will arrive on all TiVos by the end of the year and rumours abound that it might be included at no extra cost in some Virgin tv packages, i.e. xl and/or VIP.

The usual bud just rumours about channel launches. But Netflix has indeed come to VirginMedia it's being trialed in selected areas.

it was always almost certain bt sports would be on on VM it was just a question of cost both companies needed that deal sky don't need to have all there channels on VM and say again sky don't want to lose customers to VM

Media Boy, please explain something to me.

IF Sky and VM are in talks for various channels. IF, they sign a contract today for say Atlantic, and another channel comers along, does that mean to say that Vm have to wait for that contract to end before they can start talking about the new channel ?

I have really no idea on how Liberty Global works but Virgin Media before the takeover did wait until they contract was up to talk to broadcasters about getting new channels. But Broadcastnow says Sky Bravo launch is on hold until Sky can get the new deal with Virgin Media signed.
