The east side of Scotland is going to get pretty wild. I’d have a quick look outside while it’s still daylight and make sure there’s nothing loose in your garden.

The warning is for the East of Scotland, you're worried about it, therefore you must be in the East of Scotland, what "forum staff privileges" are required ?

Snow started falling here about 90 mins ago, we have about 1/2 inch now.

It's been snowing lightly since late morning here in South Manchester. Stopped at the moment, leaving an inch or so covering over all of our garden.

Freezing already and clear skies with -4°c forecasted overnight. Unfortunately I'm due out very early for hospital tests and treatments so I will have to be extra careful on the roads.

Hope the gritters have been out!

It is when it melts and then turns to ice that I'm worried about.

Already seen one accident on the roads today.
