Cable Forum - General Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 4.

I think this time hold up is due to Virgin Media updating some areas to start the Netflix on TiVo tests.

I was told that an rumour was going around Virgin HQ on Monday that says at some channels was set to launch last night - the ones postphone from last week being some of them.

I have seen no new info on when Virgin hope to launch new channels but I think new channels will appear by October.

25 new channels are rumours to be launching on Virgin Media soon - this post will be updated on my blog.

Here is the latest Media Boy HQ has on them.

Confirmed as launch soon:
-FOX + (On Channel 199)

Testing on Virgin Media right now (Been confirmed by Asian Channel and two other viewers):
-Disney HD
-Sky Sports News HD
-Sky News HD
-As well as two other HD Channels unknown at this time but Asian Channel says they broadcast on UPC Ireland right now.
-An new Movies Channel and new Music Channel is testing right now (Info from an Virgin Viewer).

It's still going to use up network capacity somewhere down the line. Does it effectively reduce the availability of Catch Up & On Demand for other people?

"TiVo will suggest more of the shows and films you love based on the stuff you record and give the Thumbs Up."

Does that mean TiVo will start to automatically record movies as a suggestion?

Very interesting times ahead for VM customers. VM have come on leaps and bounds over the last 12 months glad i never gave up on them despite the evil one offering my half price deals.

I've got 3 months left on my SKY deal at half price, keeping an eye on virgin. The good news is should I return, and time it correctly, I can get Virgin half price for a full year too! 24 months of premium TV and services for half price is great:D

News just in: Hold up of new channel launches is due to some TiVo updates for the Netflix tests.

I have just been told the channel launches that was set for last night was 'put back due to some areas having a major Tivo update'.

FOX + and Disney HD are now likely to launch within next two weeks.

I will update when launches dates and Channel number for Disney HD is confirmed.
