No snow here bar a few flakes in the wind.

Remember at university in Aberystwyth. One February we had a bit of warmth so in shirt sleeves (not quite shorts though) and cars coming in with a good bit of snow on roofs (should really clear it off before driving I know).

Down in Lampeter it only snowed once in the three years I was there, and it barely stayed a day. I always thought it was the sort of place I'd get snowed in every year ...

Same here up in Manchester and the 'feels like' temp is down to -5° so it looks like it won't be melting any time soon.

We've had really heavy snow showers on and off for most of last night and today, East side of Scotland.

Aber is on a hill so when it snowed some more stable students would polish the paths to ice, made things interesting for those whose balance was less keen.

Winchester seems to get different weather to surroundings. Our grocery delivery man yesterday said we was having difficulty only a few km away. Other times we get the snow and it's clear in surroundings.

We are now on an amber alert for more heavy snow, Tayside, we have approx 8" at the moment and it's still coming down.

A couple of dustings here, one overnight which melted again this morning, and another weaker attempt [this afternoon] that partially melted again before the temperature dropped.

Well it looks as if winter has arrived here, we have a red warning for severe weather with winds up to 90 MPH, and blizzard conditions in some areas, at the moment it is very windy and the rain we had earlier is starting to turn to sleet, so we're expecting the sleet to turn to snow, looks like a wild night ahead.
I don't think I've ever seen a red warning issued before, saw a few amber warnings issued, but never red.
