When they are shouting "Allah Huakhbar" as they get onto the small boats, don't you think that their culture conflicts with ours, at best, and they might be Iranians or Iran terrorist proxies?

Are you deliberately ignoring this obvious threat?

It's because of what you voted for. #BrexitRegret

Just because you bought it does not mean that anyone will buy it from you so easily. :D

Don't be silly. If we stayed, we'd have had to take a quota. In any case, we didn't vote for Brexit on the asylum question.

Come on Seph, you know the game, Brexit is the cause of everything:

Lack of housing
Lack of jobs
High energy bills
Bankrupt local councils
Dysfunctional NHS
Potholes
Arsenal winning the Premiership
Heavy rain in Dorset
UK doing really well in the Eurovision Song Contest :erm:

. . . there may be a character limit for posts, so I'll stop there :D

Nice try - here’s one from a couple of months ago…

https://www.gov.uk/government/public...025-accessible

Quote:

The country maintains compulsory national service system for all citizens aged 18 to 40. Following a 6-month period of military training, conscripts are assigned to either a military or a civilian role. Although the legal requirement caps service at 18 months in total, in practice it is open-ended. It is coercive and marked by abuse and inhuman treatment. It has also been likened to forced labour and slavery.
And a recent one from Ethiopia and Tigray

I skim read that first link (Gov.UK) then got sidetracked on the 'claiming asylum' links . . . and then wondered why 80% of those coming over on small boats aren't being returned :erm:

Because of Brexit - before Brexit, under the Dublin regulation, we could send them back to France...

(and they didn't try coming, because of......

the Dublin regulation!)

Wait . . are you telling me that Government Docs from 2025 have the same information as pre-brexit?
No wonder everybody is confused

I don't think your heart will allow you to type the real reason, even if your head knows it. ;)
