Cable Forum - Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010) Vol. II

Well strictly speaking for a whole Â£3/month more than Virgin charge, and so many more channels it is almost too difficult to count how many more they have.

Plus with Sky 3D launching soon, how much futher behind will Virgin be?

I have subscribed to Virgin since they launched as NYNEX back in the 1990s, but it just seems that Sky are pulling further and further ahead that it is almost a no brainer - if you can get Sky then why stick with an inferior product which costs similar?

It is getting to a point where you could liken Sky to Waitrose and Virgin to Aldi, only there's no difference in price!

Na'h... with TIVO coming this year/early next.. I think the balance will start to shift...

Sky 3D? you can keep it, not interested at all and if anyone is, then VM will have an On Demand channel for it anyway soon.

Rang faults. They sent some signal down the line with no change in status. I was then told it was being passed to the 2nd line team and may have to wait up to 24 hours. WIMO is not good enough

They can't make Nagra go any faster... it will be on very soon for you. The premiums go through Luxembourg, so can take a little longer.

Do a full reboot of your box, including by the mains, then if still no luck, I'd phone Customer Services.

a bit OT to this thread but while Tivo will be a good leap forward for VM without the content to go on it VM will always be lacking to Sky. Without all the Sky Sports packages in HD people will always want to go to Sky rather than to VM.

Take the HBO deal Sky have just signed. VM have had that on their VoD service for ages but that never really got any publicity at all, now VM sign a deal and it's mentioned all over the place.

Already emailed VM and will await there reply.

It would seem odd not to have the SD variant of the channel so I would say misprint.
However do you think it may be a hint? ;)

Still no sky HD channels in post code SE18 Woolwich/Plumstead area i Ordered them last week and i was told by customer services this morning they would be switched on by 12 midday.
